INFATUATION.

infatuation

a small flower blooms

in a dry field

few raindrops quench the thirst

of the pedals

that long to join a meadow

where everyone basks

in the beauty of

the small flower does not phantom

the damage that the meadow holds

as the beauty of its vibrancy

is trambled

the pressure to be vibrant

forces the meadow to

damage itself

in order to

meet the standards of the worshippers

they are idolized

their colors are followed

but at what odds

will its admirers go

to uphold the authentic beauty that

has been erased
