i ran out again

the doctor wont answer

the pharmacy shuttered its doors

years ago

i would walk in

picking from the hallmark card section

celebrating someone's birthday, buying sugars

and chocolates and all sorts of sweets

in moderation, the doctor said

so i go to bed at 12 AM everyday

to live a 9 to 5 life
