About Me

Hello, welcome to my site! I'm a 22 year old college senior pursuing a career in digital media, specifically multi-media journalism. As a nursing student at Emory University, I missed the creativity involved in digital media production, and decided to transfer out to complete a degree in History. After graduation, I plan to reside in Atlanta, GA or New York City, NY - whichever my post-graduate pockets can afford. Enough about my educational pursuits - let's get into the fun stuff!

I'm an avid music lover and I enjoy listening to music on my phone through Spotify and Youtube. My favorite artists include Nirvana, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, Deftones, Tyler, The Creator, Lil Nas X, Mazzy Star, Nick Drake, and Elliott Smith. My favorite music genre is metal. Many of my first memories (between 2003 - 2006) involve music - such as car trips listening to Luther Vandross, The Temptations, and watching 106 and Park with my aunt on the weekends. I was a choir kid throughout elementary, middle, and high school. Solos weren't my thing, but I sang a few that my choir teachers motivated me to pursue. Once a soprano, my voice shifted into an alto, and I damaged my voice trying to reach the high notes of my youth. I can't sing as well anymore, but I still will hum along my favorite songs in and out of the shower. My curreny goal is learning to play the drums by ear.

Outside of school, my hobbies include watching new movies at the movie theater, visiting cemetaries and archiving for Find a Grave, inline skating, spending time in nature, and shopping for the cutest and latest 70s / whimsigoth inspired clothing. Some of my favorite stores and websites to shop at include Hollister, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters, eBAY, Mercari, and Affordstroms. I used to be a Depop girly until my shirts kept arriving with baby food stains in a size 6x (won't somebody think of the toddlers?!). I find cemeteries morbidly fascinating and beautiful, and journal in the common areas away from the busy metro Atlanta streets.

This website was created due to my admiration of the early web. Being born in 2001, I didn't have the chance to truly relish in the primitive era that made the early web such a unique time in history. Thank you so much for visiting! Please remember to sign my guestbook, share and bookmark my site.
